Since the 1960’s, Australian labelling laws have used a system known as the Australian Geographical Indication (AGI) which categorises the geographic origins of grapes.

In the late 1990’s more defined boundaries were established dividing Australia into Geographic Indications known as zones, regions and sub-regions. Of the 7 zones in South Australia, the Adelaide Super Zone comprising the Barossa, Mount Lofty Ranges and Fleurieu zones, including their regions and sub-regions are within easy reach of Adelaide and the focus of some of our day tours.

Most day trips are 8 hours in duration. Destinations typically include either the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale or the Langhorne Creek and Southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
